Full-time Sales Representative / Account Executive

at Parse in San Francisco

This role is for motivated individuals looking to take on a variety of sales related responsibilities in a fast growing startup. The primary responsibility will be to grow sales of the Parse platform in a few verticals and help shape our evolving sales strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to, qualify, and convert incoming leads into sales over the phone and email.
  • Generate new leads by identifying and contacting buyers in a variety of verticals.
  • Work with marketing and growth teams to target leads that are not yet sales ready.
  • Identify roadblocks in potential deals and overall platform adoption.
  • Work with Solutions Architects and product teams to resolve roadblocks.
  • Provide weekly sales reports and product feedback to the management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. A technical degree is a huge plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication. Strong presentation and phone skills.
  • Proven track record of over-achieving quota (top 10% of company) in past positions, preferably at an early stage startup.
  • Experience with CRM systems, particularly SFDC.
  • Experience with selling a platform/SaaS product is a strong plus, especially if it was developer facing.

This position is local to San Francisco, CA. High performers will have the opportunity to grow into management roles as we scale up our salesforce.
